HoliDay Stint in ChongQing,CHINA

Juzt came back from a holiday stint in ChongQing,China...This is the first time I had taken leave from work this year..so u can expect it to be highly-anticipated...

The main purpose of this trip is to visit an old friend of mine....Picture of her taken as above...really..haven't seen her for 2 years liao..She had changed much....Maybe she had grew thinner...Chongqing is not so outdated as some of you thought to be...The scenery is better than Singapore with all those hills and mountains...WE might be better-educated than them,richer than them...But we muzt learn to be modest.....The weather is soaring hot during my 4-days stint...at times reaching 37.7 deg Celcius...that's hot...Juzt staying in hotel with the air-con fully blasting off still made me sweat...ChongQing is famous for its hot and spicy buffets...REally u have to try at least once if u went Chongqing...Juzt 3 mouthfuls of the spicy bufffet make my tongue sprinkling with heat...To think that the residents there took almost everyday...To them,is juzt like drinking water:)To me,it's sheer torture to my throats but nonetheless enjoyable...

During the 4-day stint,besides staying over at hotel,I went to my friend's grandma house...At there,they treated me really well coz they said I came as far as from Singapore,they ought to treat me with good hospitality...When I first went there,they are playing mahjong.Their style of playing mahjong is much different from Singapore's...The odds are very much different and only the winner gets to collect money from the person who lets him win instead of the other 3 oppenents...One thing interesting abt ChomngQing residents is that they like to eat water-melons....To think that I had eaten 3 full watermelons in 4 days really makes me wonder how I did it... They also took me to their landmark places for some sight-seeing and I took some precious photos....
Time passed in a twinkling of an eye...Is time to leave this great place...I told my friend that if I had time,I will come over to visit them again.....Really to repay their good hospitality...And I promise to come again.....

An Exhilarating Fa Cup Final ....

Really...this blog title describes it....truly a pulsating,exhilarating,exciting Fa Cup Final....It had to go down as a Fa Cup final Classic...Liverpool had to come back back from 0-2 down to level at 2-2...went a goal down again and hit an equaliser at the veri last minute....That was the character of the whole Liverpool team...Really.congrats to them for being crowned Fa Cup Champions...After beating mighty Chelsea but to lose to West Ham in the Final would be a real shame...

My Sick Face

This is my "sick face"..."Sick face" in the means tat dis picture is taken when I was down with the mysterious "snake disease".This "snake disease" is a skin disease where spots and bubbles will appear around your nerves.They will be pain and itchiness and thatis where I find it that most irritable:)I was given 1 week medical leave and will report back to work tomolo...sianz...thinking abt back to work make me sianz.....

Cope Tiger 2005

It's the annual Cope Tiger Exercise and for the year 2005,I was selected to go as an E2C safety equipment specialist...haha...Maybe u all dun know....Cope Tiger is an annual exercise held in Korat,Thailand between the 3 air forces of Singapore,Thailand and the United States.I first went to Korat last year and it was really a memorable trip.....
I was told to report to Changi Air Base at 0700hrs....I took a cab wif my friend,Novell,and it took me to Changi Air Base.There we took a Forker50 plane to Korat and it took a long 3 hours...Maybe a lot if you people dun know abt Korat...Even some of my travel agencies friends working there dun noe Thailand got a place called Korat...less well-known than Bangkok and Chiang Mai...There the places are much cheaper...A bowl of mee-soup cost abt 20 Thai baht...tat's less than a Singapore dollar:)
One thing special abt Thailand is its fleet of cabs...We called them "Toot-toots"...wat a funny name...The price is negotiable unlike most cabs which use a fare meter...Thailand is famous for its massage and their skill is almost at a top level...It can make you scream for help...Besides massage,their nightclubs and ktvs are the highlights of the night....Girls wearing skimpy attire were seen strolling outside the entrances,luring all the stares...It will not be a surprise that some of these places provide sexual services but of cost at a price:)
We were in Korat frm 19Jan 2005 to 5 Feb 2005...juzt in time come back for the annual Chinese New Year...I really wish to come back next year and will ravish for tat:)
